Occupational Therapy

ImageOur Occupational Therapists understand that it can be difficult for a patient to adjust immediately after hospital discharge, an injury or a major surgical procedure. Some patients may even lose a certain degree of independence but that doesn’t mean you cannot regain your self-care skills.

Occupational Therapists will provide you or your loved one at home with the valuable assistance and training when it comes to regaining your self-care skills and work skills. The therapy plan will be tailored to your needs and may include but is not limited to:

  • Assessing Client’s Home Environment for Safety
  • Pain Management
  • Traumatic Brain Injury Therapy
  • Fitting of Prosthetics for Amputations
  • Restoring Sensation and Sensory Function
  • Occupational Therapy Equipment Training
  • Exercises in Restoring Work Skills
  • Management of Primary Lymphedema
